RHINOPLASTY

Contour changes sought by patients range from small modifications of the nasal tip or bridge, to a customized refinement of all parts of the nose. The patient's aesthetic objectives guide the planning - a process often made easier with computer imaging. The aim is always an elegant and completely naturally looking nose. Incisions hidden inside the nostrils are often employed exclusively (closed technique), or an additional small incision across the columella between the nostrils may be added (open technique). Intravenous general anesthesia is used for these procedures, which are done on an outpatient basis.
