FACE LIFT
With passing years, the skin envelope of the face and neck stretches and the connecting fibers holding the soft tissues to the underlying muscle and bone become increasing lax producing a downhill slide. The result is a loss of youthful fullness over the cheekbone, and an increased prominence of the nasolabial fold just outside the laugh line of the inner cheek and corner of the mouth. Jowls form, and a sagging of the neck develops.
In his face lift surgery, Dr. Feldman uses small incisions to free the fallen facial tissues and anchor them upward. He also reshapes the neck so that it, too, takes on a pleasing and more youthful appearance.
