LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY
Bags in the lower eyelids make us look tired, even when we feel well-rested. These bulges are normal protrusions of fat pushing outward against a weakened retaining membrane. Sooner or later all of us develop some puffiness in the lower eyelids. Often these bags look their worst when we are retaining fluid or when we first get up in the morning. The most direct way to eliminate the bags and the tired look that goes with them is to remove some of the bulging fat through a small incision hidden inside the lower eyelid, as was done for this patient, who also had an upper eyelid-plasty.
