CHIN IMPLANT

The chin is the keystone that provides the primary visual reference point for the contour lines and angles that define nearly all of the aesthetic attributes of the face and neck. A weak chin that lacks adequate forward projection will detract from the beauty and balance of the facial features. The needed additional projection can often be provided easily with a properly sized and shaped chin implant inserted through a hidden incision under the chin. This can be done as an independent chin implant procedure (as was done for the patient seen here in the top row), or at the time of a rhinoplasty, or along with a face or neck lift (as was done for the patient in the bottom row).
